Tatuaje This is an impressive new brand. The cigars are superb, with a Cubanesque flavor and superior construction. They are powerful smokes, not for the meek of heart or the beginner smoker. All Tobacco is 1st Generation Cuban Seed Grown in Nicaragua. Cigars are rolled in classic Cuban tradition by Master Rollers in Little Havana Miami, FL U.S.A. Cigars are rolled with a beautiful Cuban triple-cap and are Medium to Full in flavor. Tatuaje (tah-too-wah-hey) means "tattoo" in Spanish, for those of you who are curious, making these one of John's favorites. |

Tatuaje 2006 Cojonu Tatuaje Cojonu 2006 Natural cigars are Nicaraguan puros handmade in Miami, Florida by the most highly-skilled torcedors under the guidance of Cuban 'maestro tabaquero,' Jose Pepin Garcia. Created by Pete Johnson, each Tatuaje cigar is handcrafted with 1st generation Nicaraguan Cuban-seed tobaccos cured to perfection and finished in zesty Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrappers with a beautiful Cuban-style triple-cap. These medium to full-bodied cigars are perfectly balanced with a rich, earthy, and spicy complexity. |

Tatuaje Cabinet Especiale Tatuaje has taken the industry by storm! Their rare cigars have been named among Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year for both 2005 and 2006. Some have even rated Tatuaje cigars above such classics as Opus X and Padron Anniversario. Under the direction of Maestro Tobaquero Jose 'Don Pepin' Garcia, master rollers skillfully handcraft each cigar, resulting in an impeccable construction and smooth draw. Tatuaje’s creator, Pete Johnson, carefully selected 100% first generation Cuban seed Nicaraguan filler, giving the puros their impressive strength and complex aroma. Each Tatuaje cigar truly captures the spirit of old Havana, down to its Cuban-style triple cap. |

Tatuaje Reserva J21 (Lancero) The Reserva line of Tatuaje cigars all sport a second gold band that says "Reserva" in gold on a black background. This second band is meant to appear similar to the Cuban "Edicion Limitada" band, and the cigars are analogous to Cuban EL cigars, in that they are small production, with different blends for each cigar. The "SW" stands for "Sir Winston", a tribute to the H.Upmann cigar of the same name; lighter colored viso wrappers are selected for this cigar to make it similar looking to the H.Upmann version. The J 21 cigar uses an aged ligero wrapper that balances well with the blend for that particular cigar (the other Reserva cigars all use viso wrapper). You might think of the J 21 as a "baby Cojonu" in terms of the blend in the cigar. "J 21" has a number of meanings. First, the Johnson family was very into sports, and always wore jersey #21, with "Johnson" on the back. Second, a close friend of Pete's had his beloved dog named Jos die at age 21, the same year this cigar debuted. |

El Triunfador Pete Johnson and Don Pepin are no strangers when it comes to excellent craftsmanship in their products, and the Triunfador is a great case study for that. The wrapper is extremely oily, silky smooth, and a very consistent rich brown topped off with the famous, rounded triple cap. |
